SUMMER SCHOOL
WHDT offers a full summer program, recommending 1-3 classes per day depending upon the dancers age and level of training.
Because our school system in Hawaii has gone to a year round program West Hawaii dance Theatre and Academy currently hold "Summer Program" classes all summer.
Students may attend at any time during the summer months Let us know yourtravel dates, and we will create a program specifically for you depending on your main dance interest (ballet, jazz, tap, modern). It is not necessary, but would be helpful if you sent a video prior to your visit so we can place you in the correct class level.
Our summer program in held at our main studio in Kailua-Kona, and some classes are held at our new facility in Waimea. WHDT does not offer housing accommodations, but there are many inexpensive condos and hotels close to the studio. We would be happy to forward a list to you upon request.
Classes are mostly held in the Afternoons/evening and Saturday day times. Depending on the week you are here, there may be some extra day time classes. We usually recommend 1-3 classes per day for her age.
The cost for Summer School are dependent upon on how many classes per week you take.
Weekly and daily programs available.
During the sessions students will attend 2-3 classes, five days a week. Students will be assigned to classes depending on age, ability and interests.
