Dress Code

The dress code for our students is simple, but IMPORTANT! Proper attire ensures that all dancers will have adequate mobility during class. Improper attire can impact ability to grip the floor, technique, precision, focus, and visibility.

PRE-BALLET/CREATIVE MOVEMENT
PRIMARY BALLET

Top: light pink leotard
Bottom: ballet pink tights
Feet: pink ballet shoes
Optional: pink skirt/tutu
Hair: high or low bun or secured away from face if too short for a bun

BALLET TECHNIQUE I & UP

Top: black leotard*
Bottom: ballet pink tights
Feet: pink ballet shoes
Optional: any color skirt
Hair: high or low bun or secured away from face if too short for a bun

*Senior performance group students may wear any color leotard

NO JEWELRY OF ANY KIND SHOULD BE WORN DURING CLASS

BOYS – ALL LEVELS

Top: white t-shirt
Bottom: black tights or black shorts
Feet: black ballet shoes
As needed: dance belt or supportive underwear
Hair: if longer, secured away from face

CONTEMPORARY

Top: any color leotard
Bottom: any color tights, leggings or fitted jazz pants
Feet: any color ballet shoes
Hair: up and out of face

ADULT CLASSES

Your choice of proper ballet/dance attire and shoes
