The Nutcracker Ballet

WINTER
The Nutcracker Ballet
Over 100 local students and community members of all ages from the Big Island and Maui participated in this performance, which featured additional new choreography by Miho Tsutumi and Soili Arvola. For the first time, the dancers were accompanied by a full orchestra under the baton of Maestro Brian Dollinger.

Cinderella the Ballet
Over seventy talented dancers from Hawaii Island and Maui, guest professional dancers, stunning costumes and magical sets were brought together with narration and musical accompaniment to tell the timeless story of a young girl who discovers her prince with a little help from her fairy godmother.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
A fresh, jazzy touch on the beloved classic “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” this production brought to life the Lewis Carroll classic with a fresh twist inspired by Christopher Wheeldon’s choreography for The Royal Ballet’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” (which premiered in 2011) and featured the music of Joby Talbot and Carl Davis.
