Benefits of Dance

Dance is an outlet for emotional expression, stress reduction and creativity that benefits you during stressful situations by channeling energy positively. Dancing in a class helps you to maintain the bonds you’ve made with your peers or to create new bonds. In today’s uncertain time, we want to provide you with this support via our Zoom Classes. Currently enrolled students will be able to continue their dance education, while still allowing new students and peers from around the world the ability to enroll in dance in Hawaii!

Transitioning back to the studio…

While we are transitioning our classes to an in-studio format, we are implementing new protocols for our students’ and staffs’ safety. Please be sure to familiarize yourself with WHDT’s safety measures before returning to and/or entering the studio.  We understand that not everyone may feel comfortable returning to the studio at this time, and we WILL continue to offer our ZOOM class options. Thank you for your continued support while we navigate these changes.

If you have questions about whether a particular class is holding classes in studio, it is best for you to contact the studio and/or teacher directly. Email us or call the studio directly. Mahalo!

Thank you for your support…

Because of the cancellation of our spring performance, our small non-profit studio has lost significant funds associated with ticket sales along with our silent auction monies and boutique sales. Your contribution goes a long way to provide continued dance education to our community and beyond. Click below to donate, or contact us at info@whdt.org.   We appreciate your continued support of our online class sessions, and sharing our dance offerings with friends and family.
